Enforcement

Our law enforcement personnel are too valuable to be sitting with a radar detector doing a job that could be easily automated by technology. In order to ensure safer roadways and enable our tax dollars to be utilized more efficiently, we need to leverage technology to automate enforcement where possible and free our law enforcement personnel to focus on those tasks which require human intelligence and discretion. Furthermore, we should provide our law enforcement personnel with the technology to efficiently gather evidence that will allow the courts to properly prosecute dangerous drivers. Failure to do this constitutes willful neglect on behalf of our society to protect all roadway users, especially those who are most vulnerable such as pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcyclists, seniors, youth, and the disabled.
